For the marinade:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • Step number 1. In a large glass bowl prepare the marinade by combining 2 tablespoons cornstarch, black pepper, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil and 1 teaspoon rice vinegar. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate while preparing the vegetables. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
