Maple Waffle Breakfast Casserole

1 pound maple breakfast sausage
8 Eggo Waffles
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
8 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk

  • Step number 1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage for 5 to 8 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Step 2, Toast the waffles and then cut into cubes. Place into a greased/ buttered 9×13 baking dish. Add the cooked sausage and cheese and toss together until evenly combined.
  • After that, In a bowl beat together the eggs, milk, and maple syrup. Pour over top the waffles, sausage and cheese. Using the back of a fork, press the waffles down into the egg mixture.
